The Fokacha restaurant, a before and after in working methods

A work of art is a living organism. Like a spring, events emerge around it that need to be channeled so that everything flows as it should. At Spin, that journey concludes with the client's delivery of the completed project, ensuring that, despite any circumstances, the renovation meets all their requirements and even exceeds their highest expectations.

The reflection comes to the case of the comprehensive reform recently carried out in the Fokacha restaurant, in Madrid, who has had the unprecedented experience of living with confinement. An experience that demonstrates a paradigm shift in the way construction projects are handled. Meetings with project management, drawing up plans, design decisions, and much more, which until now have always been handled in person, have now seen the need to be handled virtually, digitizing a large part of these processes.

Overnight, new demands appeared on professional relationships. The viability of the project depended on rapid adaptation to needs, and a good grasp of the subject was required. Today, If we look back a few months to measure how those uncertainties were resolved, contemplating the final result of the work is an eloquent barometer.

Under these circumstances, the work has been carried out as planned from the beginning in each and every one of the decorative guidelines set by the famous Touza architectural studio, in charge of the restaurant designIn the living room, the goal of creating different atmospheres was achieved through the combination of materials such as iron, listral glass, micro cement, and brick.

Special mention should be made of the raised arch that divides the space. The Spin team played a key role in its design, creating an iron frame clad with aged brick. The final result gives the restaurant's interior a distinct personality..

In addition to the planned plan, a series of improvements were made that were not initially planned, such as the management and obtaining of the necessary permits for a gas supply in the kitchen; the marble lining of the stone ovenThe design and creation of planters to decorate the terrace; and the light provided to the interior of the establishment thanks to the double-glazed safety windows.

The way the Spin team resolved each of these issues has enhanced the final outcome of the project. The client has indeed managed to see his expectations exceeded, and he has communicated this.

The work is finished. This dedicated living organism is born in the form of a new business. The successes it achieves along the way will inevitably become part of Spin's heritage.
