The premises are located at number 8 Santo Domingo de Silos Street in Madrid, and the renovation work consisted of converting a Gambrinus brand brewery into the aforementioned Carl's Jr., a chain with more than 4,000 franchises spread throughout the world.
The work was carried out on both floors of the establishment: the 120 m2 upper floor, used for the restaurant's dining room, and a 70 m2 basement where the kitchen is located. Initially, the decorative elements of the old restaurant were dismantled to make way for a change in the layout of the dining room and a new kitchen designed to meet its needs.
One of the challenges of this project was to take advantage of existing coatings and materials from the previous commercial activity for the use of the new decoration., as is the case with the aged brickwork on the main wall. This circumstance, which required great skill, This has led to significant savings in materials, which has greatly benefited the final project budget.
The work involved plasterers, bricklayers, tilers, welders, plumbers, and electrical workers. Due to the timing of this project coinciding with our simultaneous work on other projects, we hired various professionals to reinforce the team.
